At our monastery set amid the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, the unique taste and aroma of springerle cookies have long evoked the Christmas season.

For years, dating back likely to the late 19th century, our sisters have been baking these special treats imprinted with holiday images, as part of the German heritage that so many of us have shared. Now we are pleased to offer this taste of an Old World Christmas to you!
